I work with my clients to help make lifestyle changes & choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving your energy, balance, health & happiness.

Complications of diabetes could have shortened my life instead I conquered my disease, lost 115 pounds, and became free of diabetic and blood pressure meds.

Now, my kidneys are fine, I have more energy than when I was 30 years-old, and leaped from happy to joyful. I no longer worry about fitting into an airplane seat.

I dance at concerts and easily walk four miles without losing breathe. My life is balanced. I enjoy foods that I’ve always loved like pizza and pasta, in moderation.

Actually, I’ve become a foodie searching for and creating simple healthy recipes to share. To find additional ways to reach and serve women, next on my to-do list is offering webinars, cooking classes and writing a book!

I remember clearly the day that my life changed forever. I’d been waiting anxiously in a cold exam room when the doctor told me that my blood sugar level was out-of-control and injuring my kidneys.

At 50 years-old, I weighed 242-pounds, lacked energy, couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs without becoming short of breathe, and used medications to control my blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol. My risk of heart attack and stroke had sky-rocketed. As a single mom, I became frightened for my life and my daughter’s future.

My doctor planned to prescribe insulin to control my blood sugars. I refused to accept that path. Instead, I reached out to a nutrition health coach for support. I experimented, learned, and transformed. Like many women, I struggled with weight loss plateaus, uncontrollable blood sugars, adjusting my priorities, and challenges of changing relationships.
